How to report a scam IPTV service
Where to file a scam report, what evidence to keep, and how to help the next victim.
If you've been scammed by an IPTV service — paid, got nothing, or lost access within days — reporting helps get domains taken down and prevents the next victim. Here is the exact process.
1. Document everything
- Screenshot the signup page (before the scammer takes it down).
- Save all email correspondence.
- Export the receipt from your payment method.
- Note the exact domain and any redirect hostnames.
- Capture your account dashboard before losing access.
2. Chargeback (if paid by card)
Contact your card issuer within 60 days of the transaction. Dispute reason: "Services not rendered" (if you never got access) or "Not as described" (if access was cut off before the paid period ended). Chargebacks succeed >80% of the time in this category when documented properly.
PayPal has a 180-day buyer-protection window. Even for digital services, PayPal sides with the buyer most of the time when the provider is unresponsive.
3. Report the domain
- Cloudflare abuse — abuse.cloudflare.com. Most IPTV scam sites front through Cloudflare; they respond to fraud reports.
- Registrar abuse — whois the domain, find the registrar's abuse@ address, file a complaint.
- Google Safe Browsing — safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish — flags the domain for browser warnings.
4. Report to your jurisdiction
- UK — Action Fraud (actionfraud.police.uk). Crime reference number opens a chargeback path.
- US — IC3 (ic3.gov) for amounts >$100.
- EU — your national consumer-protection agency (European Consumer Centres network).
5. Tell the community
Post a concrete, evidence-based report on the IPTV subreddit (/r/IPTV). Include: domain, dates, transaction amount, and your chargeback status. Specific reports help the community; vague "this is a scam" posts get downvoted.
